What is the Role of the Convention and Program Planning Committee?

The committee provides the board and staff with guidance for programming at MidYear Conference and Annual Convention including themes, speakers, and education session topics.
Meet Trey Harpole:

Hey there, amazing NSNA members!

As an RN currently enrolled in the RN-BSN program at the University of Michigan Flint, I am absolutely thrilled to be here with you as a newly reelected Director and Chair of the Convention Planning Committee for the 2024-2025 term! Picture me doing a happy dance right now because that's exactly how excited I am.

First off, let me just say how honored I am to have the opportunity to work alongside such a talented and passionate group of individuals. Seriously, you all rock!

Now, I know what you're probably thinking: "Convention planning... sounds like serious business." And hey, you're not wrong! But who says serious can't be fun? Together, we're going to inject some serious fun into this whole process.

But hey, fun aside, let's remember why we're all here. We're here because we're passionate about nursing, about education, and about making a difference in the world. And guess what? We're going to do just that.

So buckle up, NSNA fam, because we're about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Together, we'll create a convention that not only educates and inspires but leaves a lasting impact on everyone who attends.
