National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS)

The National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS) is the only national professional organization solely dedicated to advancing the role and impact of the clinical nurse specialist (CNS). NACNS serves as the national authority on CNS practice, education, research, and policy, supporting CNSs across clinical, academic, and leadership settings. The organization advocates for full practice authority, professional recognition, and the demonstrated value of CNSs as advanced practice registered nurses who drive high-quality patient care and system-level improvement.
