The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting rehabilitation nurses, their patients, and the rehabilitation nursing specialty through specialized continuing education, its certification program for registered nurses demonstrating rehabilitation competencies, advocacy for the specialty and philosophy of care, and rehabilitation nursing community networking. More than 13,000 RNs have obtained the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN®) certification, and they fulfill a variety of roles to help their patients live as independently as possible, despite chronic illness or physical disability.
