NSNA Awards & Honors Program
NSNA constituent associations offer numerous opportunities for involvement in leadership activities and programs. One of the many benefits of active participation in NSNA is the opportunity to be recognized through the NSNA Awards and Honors Program, which celebrates the achievements of individual members, school chapters, and state associations.*
Visit each individual award webpage for more details on judging criteria, prizes, and how to apply. Certain awards do not require an application.
Deadlines are indicated on each awards page and applications must be received by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on the deadline date listed for each award, unless otherwise specified.
Please follow instructions for award applications carefully. Incomplete online applications will not be considered. Please note that all applications become the property of NSNA. Only one award application per category is permitted for each project. Please do not submit the same project for multiple categories, as it will be disqualified from the awards program.
NSNA Awards Ceremony
The 2026-2027 NSNA Awards are presented during the Awards Ceremony at the NSNA 75th Annual Convention in Lake Buena Vista, FL, on Wednesday, March 31, 2027, from 1:00-2:00 pm local time.
Award winners are announced and listed on this website and in Convention News, the digital Convention newsletter in the Guidebook app.
NSNA Policy on AI Usage
NSNA prohibits the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as text generators, paraphrasers, summarizers, or translators, in the preparation and submission of award applications to NSNA.
To ensure the integrity and authenticity of applications, we may use various methods to detect the use of AI tools, such as plagiarism checkers, linguistic analysis, and human review and require applicants to sign a declaration stating that they have not used any AI tools in their applications and that they are solely responsible for the content and quality.
