[June 4, 2020] All Lives will Matter Only when Black Lives Matter As an organization that represents students from multiple backgrounds and cultures, the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA) acknowledges all who are impacted by the recent tragedy which took place in our nation.
On May 25, 2020, the black community suffered the loss of George Floyd. His death was preceded by that of AhmaudArbery, Breonna Taylor, and many other black men and women. The injustice surrounding their deaths must be shared and acknowledged by all people. Families have endured the heartache of losing a mother, father, daughter, or son. [March 28, 2020]Message from the NSNA President on the COVID-19 Pandemic Dear Members: I wanted to reach out to everyone and let you know that NSNA is thinking about you during this time and appreciates the strong camaraderie of our constituents. Everyone around the globe has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, testing one of our deepest tenets as humans to come together and care for each other.
[March 22, 2020] NSNA/FNSNA Headquarters will be closed until further notice as per New York State requirements. The entire NSNA staff will be working from home and will be available to take phone calls, respond to inquiries, and answer emails. Please be sure to regularly check your email for important messages for members, state and school chapter leaders, delegates, and faculty. Take good care and be vigilant in observing all COVID-19 restrictions.
