Her creation of the Williams/Shock Legacy of Leadership Endowment further cements her lifelong dedication to nurturing future nurse leaders and ensuring that mentorship remains a core value of nursing education and practice. A fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the American Diversity Leaders in Nursing, Dr. Williams has received numerous accolades, including the National Black Nurses Association Lifetime Achievement Award and the St. Louis American Excellence in Healthcare Leadership Award.
