Greetings NSNA members! I am very exciting to serve as the 2007-2008 UpClose Reporter. I'm embarking on my nursing adventure after spending 15 years doing marketing and fundraising for universities and academic medical centers. I have degrees in journalism and marketing communications from the University of Iowa and the University of Colorado at Boulder and I'm currently pursuing an ASN degree at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN. At USF, I'm a vice president of our Student Nursing Association and on the state level, I'm chair of the Indiana Association of Nursing Students convention planning committee. I'm married, way too attached to our dog and cats, and when I'm not studying you can find me making quilts or knitting. I look forward to working with the NSNA membership and Imprint this academic year.
