| FNSNA Establishes Disaster Relief Fund
In response to messages from students who lost their homes, schools, and in some cases, family members, the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) has created the FNSNA Disaster Relief Fund. The Fund will help to rebuild nursing labs and libraries destroyed by the hurricanes, and will assist nursing students to purchase books, uniforms, nursing shoes, and other items they need to continue their nursing education.
In an effort to contribute to these relief efforts, donations to the FNSNA Disaster Relief Fund will be given to schools impacted by the devastation for distribution to students and/or for use to restore libraries and clinical nursing labs.
Everyone is invited to make an individual contribution. NSNA chapters are invited to help by sponsoring fund-raising events and activities at their schools. State chapters are encouraged to collect funds during their annual conventions.
