- Pilot a National Student Nurse Disaster program that can be brought to colleges with healthcare programs
- Implement 2009 Resolution 7: In Support of Liability Protection for Paid Healthcare Personnel During a Declared Disaster or State of Emergency
- Implement 2009 Resolution 18: In Support of Prevention, Awareness, and Nationalized Regulation, Standards for Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus
- Continue NIMS Certification recognition at MidYear Conference and Convention
- Create a presentation about disaster planning for NSNA Board members to share with members during site visits, when desired by the state chapter
