Support Orphaned Daughters of Nurses in Developing Countries
The International Council of Nurses and the Florence Nightingale International Foundation are raising funds through the sale of a Florence Nightingale Teddy Bear, launched in support of the ICN's Girl Child Education Fund (GCEF). The fund provides for the schooling of the orphaned daughters of nurses in developing countries. You can add your support by purchasing a GCEF Bear or adding a link to the GCEF bear website www.gcefbear.com on your Facebook page, website or blog. Shipment of the GCEF bear is available to all countries.
The International Council of Nurses (ICN) is a federation of 135 national nurses associations representing the millions of nurses worldwide. Operated by nurses and leading nursing internationally, ICN works to ensure quality nursing care for all and sound health policies globally.
