    Diane J. Mancino, EdD, RN, CAE, FAAN
    Executive Director
    Appointed by and directly responsible to the Board of Directors through the president. Manages and directs all operations, programs, activities and affairs of the association. The Executive Director is responsible for the employment, termination of employment, and determination of compensation for all staff and supporting personnel within the framework of policy aims and programs as generally determined by the Board of Directors. Dr. Mancino also serves as Executive Director of the Foundation of the NSNA.

    Serves as staff consultant to the secretary/treasurer of the NSNA and FNSNA; drafts annual budget for NSNA and FNSNA for Board approval; monitors income and expenses; supervises accountant and works with auditor; oversees investments and preparation of all taxes and develops internal systems and procedures.

    Conference and Program Planning Consultant
    Coordinates the association's programs including Legislative/Education and Community Health and Disaster Preparedness activities with the chairperson(s).  Works with the Bylaws/Policies Committee chair and coordinates the planning and implementation of the Annual Convention and MidYear Career Planning Conference.


     Jonathan Buttrick, MPW (Master of Professional Writing)
    Director of Communications 
    Serves as Imprint and NSNA News managing editor; works closely with the Imprint editor on all aspects of production; assists the editor with the Editors' workshop; is responsible for overseeing publications; and serves as the association's public relations liaison. Responsible for the Convention press room and the Convention News.

    Membership Development Director

    Plans and executes annual membership marketing plan including preparation of publicity materials, mailings, recruitment and retention activities; develops membership benefits and services programs; coordinates membership contests; and maintains membership statistics. Coordinates design and distribution of the Convention and MidYear Brochures. Serves as staff support for Breakthrough to Nursing® director, membership director, and COSP Planning Committee. Administers NSNA's records management program. Coordinates marketing and provides consultation COSP, and to states and schools on establishing and managing chapters.

    Scholarship and Grants Administrator

    Oversees FNSNA undergraduate scholarship administration including the Promise of Nursing and general scholarship programs. Manages school grant program and graduate nursing education Fellowships. Coordinates distribution and oversight of scholarships and grants. Serves as liaison to general scholarship sponsors. Assists in the planning and implementation of special functions and events such as the Annual Awards Ceremony and fundraising events.

    Contact Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc.
    Handles all promotion for Imprint, and the Convention and MidYear Conference advertising; administers Exhibitor promotion and advertising for both meetings; and works with the NSNA staff to manage the NSNA Convention and MidYear Conference. The offices of Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. are located in Pitman, NJ.


    NSNA maintains a headquarters office in Brooklyn , NY. Depending on the area of responsibility, executive staff work directly with members of the Board of Directors, committees, and NSNA appointed representatives.
